Mossberg 940 Pro Sporting Autoloaders
Based on Mossberg’s 940 autoloading platform, the 940 Pro Sporting has a gas system that may run up to 1,500 rounds before cleaning. It will also cycle factory-manufactured 2.75 or 3-inch ammunition, 1 oz or greater. The gas piston, magazine tube, hammer, and sear have a nickel boron coating and extra finishing for corrosion resistance and enhanced operation.
The 940 Pro Sporting boasts several ergonomic features such as an oversized and beveled loading port, a pinch-free elevator and shell catch, and an oversized, contoured charging handle and paddle-style bolt release. Both the slim, ergonomic forend and stock feature Mossberg’s signature texturing for a secure hold. The 940 Pro Sporting Autoloaders are topped with a HIVIZ CompSight front fiber optic sight and a blue anodized magazine tube cap and charging handle.
940 Pro Sporting Walnut
The 940 Pro Sporting Walnut shotgun features a handsome walnut stock and forend with an elegant cream finish. The stock is user-adjustable for length-of-pull (13 – 14.25 inches) and adjustable for cast and drop, using the incremental stock shims. Mossberg 590 & 940 Pro Thunder Ranch Shotguns
Mossberg’s 590 & 940 Pro Thunder Ranch Shotguns sport a Patriot Brown Cerakote coating on the receiver and 18.5-inch cylinder bore barrel. Thanks to the convenient optic-cut receiver, shooters have the choice of directly mounting a microdot optic (Shield RMSc-footprint). A cover plate is included when an optic is not in use. Lastly, the two both sport a Thunder Ranch logo lasered on the receiver.
590 Thunder Ranch Pump-Action Shotgun
590 shotguns include non-binding twin action bars, positive steel-to-steel lock-up and anti-jam elevator, dual extractors, drilled and tapped receivers, and ambidextrous top-mounted safety. Just like other 940 shotguns, shooters can expect the same clean-running and redesigned gas-operating system that may run up to 1,500 rounds between cleaning intervals. Mossberg’s Two New Cerakote Versions of the 940 Pro Tactical Shotgun
Mossberg is bringing out two new versions of their 940 Pro Tactical 12-gauge, 8-shot autoloading shotgun with Cerakote OD Green or Flat Dark Earth polymer-ceramic finish on the receiver, barrel, and magazine tube. These feature-packed, optic-ready autoloaders deliver quick target acquisition, ease of operation, and simple adjustability.
Standard 940 features aside, the 940 Pro Tactical includes a patent-pending, optic-cut receiver for the direct mounting of low-profile, micro dot sights (RMSc footprint). The extended magazine tube allows for a 7+1 round capacity with 2.75-inch shells and the barrel clamp features a sling swivel stud plus dual-sided M-LOK-compatible slots. The 18.5-inch barrel has a fiber optic front sight and is threaded for use with interchangeable AccuChoke choke tubes (Cylinder choke tube included). Mossberg 590S Shotgun Now Available in Magpul Holosun Combo & Optic-Ready Compact Version
Last but certainly not least, the Mossberg 590S now offers a Magpul Holosun Combo with SGA and MOE furniture and Holosun HS407K micro dot sight and a Compact optic-ready model with variable 12 to 13-inch length-of-pull. Both versions feature 18.5-inch AccuChoke™-compatible barrels, a matte-blue metal finish, and the capability of cycling 1.75, 2.75, and 3-inch shotshells interchangeably without the use of an adaptor. A cover plate is included for use when a sight is not mounted.
The 590S’s key design elements include a redesigned elevator and bolt slide combined with the addition of an energy-absorbing bumper. This patented design allows the user to load their choice of shotshell length (1.75-, 2.75-, and 3-inch) and shotshell type in any combination. The use of shorter shell lengths will also increase the overall capacity of the 590S.
