Rossi USA has outdone itself for 2024 with the launches of the renowned R95 chambered in .45-70 and the .22LR Rio Bravo Tactical.

R95 Now in .45-70 Government

When a hotly-anticipated firearm hits the market, it’s only natural to wonder when the next model will be released, such is the case for the R95. “The first question I was asked after we introduced the R95 in .30-.30 was ‘When will you make a .45-70?’, which was in the works already,” said Caleb Giddings, General Manager of Marketing. “It’s now available in 16.5, 20, and 22-inch barrel lengths.”

The newest iteration possesses a perfect blend of both style and substance. The R95 .45-70 Government model boasts a cold hammer-forged barrel which improves accuracy and the rifle’s overall longevity. On top of this, the rifle’s handsome hardwood walnut finish pairs beautifully with the deep blue finish of the hardware. The smooth, hand-finished lever action maintains the look and feel of a classic Old-West rifle and the large loading gate provides a more convenient and safer method of loading and reloading—no pinched fingers here.

For the sake of adding optics, the R95 .45-70 Government model is drilled and tapped using 8-40 screws for simple installation. In addition, Rossi worked with aftermarket parts manufacturers to ensure compatibility with the latest and greatest grips, rails, and accessories for custom additions.

The Rossi USA R95 .45-70 Government model has a 5-round tube magazine and is available in three barrel lengths–16.5 inches, 20 inches, and 22 inches.

Rio Bravo Tactical .22LR

Rossi USA invites plinking enthusiasts and varmint hunters to take it up a notch with the Rio Bravo Tactical lever-action rifle. The Rio Bravo Tactical offers a 10-round capacity, a medium loop, an ergonomically-designed stock, forend accessory mounting slots, a sleek polished black metal finish, a low-profile 3/8 dovetail mount, and the stock is available in Black, Black/FDE, and Black/Olive Drab Green.

When asked about his excitement about the Rio Bravo Tactical, Giddings didn’t hold back. “Nothing beats a .22LR action for pure fun, and the Rio Bravo Tactical enhances that fun by adding modern features to Rossi’s popular Rio Bravo rifle. A medium loop, Picatinny rail, and threaded barrel all upgrade the Rio Bravo into its Tactical configuration, perfect for some suppressed .22 LR shooting.”
