At its core, the 1911 DS Warrior pairs a traditional Kimber single-action 1911 slide with a modern double-stack subframe and grip module to deliver increased magazine capacity without sacrificing the familiarity or shootability that 1911 enthusiasts demand.
The slide features Kimber’s legacy internal extractor, a bushing system barrel, and a mil-spec guide rod, maintaining the operating system that has defined Kimber 1911 pistols for decades.
At launch there are six DS Warrior models in the following chamberings: 9mm, .45 ACP, .38 Super and 10mm. All are optics-ready, allowing shooters to easily mount today’s most popular red dot sights.
The guns are offered in standard full-size, 5-inch configuration, except for the 10mm model being offered in both 5- and 6-inch long-slide options.
