The Competitor HD takes a different approach. This one is built for shooters who watch the timer and measure reload speeds in fractions of seconds.
The spiral-fluted barrel and lightened slide help the gun cycle quicker and stay flatter in recoil. Deeper, more aggressive slide serrations make press checks and slide work easy, even when you’re under pressure and moving fast.
S&W also added competition-friendly touches like an external magwell and extended magazine release to make reloads faster and more forgiving, especially when the clock is running.
