FN America’s 509 CC Edge Carry Pistol
Pistols with muzzle compensators became a thing a couple years ago, though I didn’t take them too seriously. They looked cool. But…functional or just another marketing ploy?
Then I shot the new FN 509 CC Edge pistol in 9MM and discovered that the compensator on this particular semi-automatic actually worked as advertised; it reduced muzzle flip and got me on target during fast, follow-up shots.
