A Lifestyle Magazine for Modern Outdoorsmen

jason aldean, highway desperado

The new single follows Jason Aldean’s 28th #1 hit “Try That in a Small Town.” The album is available for pre-order now.

27 number one singles, 17 billion streams, and 20 million albums sold. Jason Aldean remains on top. And with the lamenting ballad “Whiskey River” now on air — a new track releasing today from his forthcoming album Highway Desperado — Aldean has plenty to celebrate.

This week has already seen high notes for the star. “Try That in a Small Town” earned Aldean his 28th career #1 single. With the album releasing on Nov. 3rd, Aldean can likely expect more number ones from his 11th studio album to come.

Will it be the lamenting conversational ballad “Whiskey Drink” that adds a second #1 to ‘Highway Desperado’? Time will tell.

About Jason Aldean’s ‘Highway Desperado’

‘Highway Desperado’includes a total of fourteen tracks, featuring Aldean’s breakthrough Hot 100 chart-topping single, “Try That In A Small Town.”

Besides today’s new track, the album also includes “Let Your Boys Be Country” and three tracks co-written by Aldean. He initially introduced new music from the album in May with the release of “Tough Crowd” at this year’s ACM Awards, where he was nominated for Entertainer of the Year. Expect 14 songs in total once the new album releases.

Since his chart debut in 2005, Jason Aldean, a Georgia native, has accumulated the most Top 10 songs on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, surpassing all other artists. His songs, centered around small-town living, love, and loss, have deeply connected with his loyal fanbase and have catapulted him to the pinnacle of Country music success, as noted by Billboard and the Atlanta Journal Constitution. He is currently on tour with the same name as the new album, which continues until October 27th.
