Savage Arms is leaning heavy into some coboy nostalgia with its new REVEL series. But these lever action rimfire rifles aren’t stuck in the dusty, outdated Wild West. Savage Arms made sure these classic-style guns fit the modern age with a smart design, clean lines, and a focus on shootability.

Both the REVEL Classic and REVEL DLX are lightweight, takedown rimfires built for real-world use. Tool-less takedown keeps things simple. The lever cycles smooth. The trigger breaks clean. And while these are sharp-looking rifles, they’re built to shoot. Not just admire.

The REVEL Classic stays true to tradition, featuring a contoured walnut stock and a classic tubular magazine. This one will feel instantly familiar for anyone who grew up shooter lever guns.

The REVEL DLX adds some refined upgrades that really count. These upgrades include detailed stippling and a pistol grip on the walnut stock for better grip, even if your hands are cold, wet, or wearing gloves.

It’s subtle, but something you’ll appreciate after you’ve dumped a few magazines on soda cans or spent a long morning still-hunting squirrels.

Both rifles are chambered for the most popular rimfire cartridges, including .22 LR, .22 WMR, and .17 HMR, making them great options for plinking, pest control, and small game. Savage didn’t try to reinvent the lever gun here.

They just made one that fits how people actually shoot today.
