Sightmark’s Core 2.0 series updates optics for AR users, and it adds better low light capabilities, improved precision, and more.
Launched in 2016, the Sightmark Core series revolutionized the performance of modern sporting rifles with fully multi-coated optics, etched glass reticles, and exposed lockable turrets. Now, it’s back with an abundance of new and improved features as the Core 2.0.
This upgraded second focal plane optics lineup features enhanced glass quality, more precise click adjustments, and superior low-light performance. And thankfully, it retains its proven durability and accuracy.
“Sightmark’s mission has always been to elevate the outdoor shooting experience” James Sellers, founder and CEO of Sellmark Corporation, said. “The Core 2.0 lineup offers tactical shooters the precision and durability required from the range to the practice field. We’re thrilled to bring updates to one of Sightmark’s most popular and trusted riflescope lines.”
About the Sightmark Core 2.0 Series
Engineered for AR users, The Core 2.0 TX 1-4×24 is a Low Powered Variable Optic (LPVO). The series offers tailored options for both short and medium-range shooting. As a second focal plane optic, the subtension lines hold true at maximum magnification.
Specifically calibrated for 5.56×45 55gr ammunition, it also features an AR-556 reticle enabling quick target acquisition at close ranges. Impressively, it’s capable of ranging targets up to 600 yards away. Additionally, it uses the MR2 with a 4x base magnification. This helps determine target distances at extended ranges.
Constructed with aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, both optics in the new Core 2.0 line endure temperatures from -4° to 149° F. Expect robustness in even the harshest conditions.
