Country Music & Entertainment News From Hook & Barrel Magazine

HARDY Records “Gin and Juice” with Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre

Kicking off our country music news is a collaboration we didn’t see coming—but we’re absolutely here for it. “Gin and Juice” is coming back with new life from HARDY, after being personally enlisted by Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre. The trio cut the song to help launch the new beverage line of the same name. [Editor’s question: Why is Rap cozying up so much with Country?]

“A while back, I got a phone call saying that Jimmy Iovine, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg would like for me to record my own version of ‘Gin and Juice’ for the launch of their new drink, Gin&Juice,” says HARDY. “I’m still in disbelief, but I am so stoked that I’m dropping my version of ‘Gin and Juice’ with the blessing of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg themselves. Thankful for the opportunity.”

The song, out now, will be followed by a video out next month. Give the song a listen here: hardy.lnk.to/GinAndJuice
